Project is contractor’s 22^nd for the University of Edinburgh

Balfour Beatty has won a £12m contract to renovate the 1960s William Robertson building at the University of Edinburgh.

The refurbishment of the lecture hall building will be Balfour Beatty’s 22^nd job for the university.

The contractor will refurbish the four-storey Grade B-listed building and construct a new storey at rooftop level to be used as a project room.

The Page & Park-designed project is due to be completed by Spring 2014.
