Insulation firm Celotex signs deal with construction product giant

Construction products giant Saint-Gobain has today signed an agreement to acquire UK insulation manufacturer Celotex.

In the year to August 2011 the insulation firm turned over £69.7m from its two production lines in Hadley near Ipswich.

The brand will keep its name and management team under the deal.

The acquisition is subject ot approval by the Office of Fair Trading.
