Partnership on Building Schools for the Future programme will be led by Bouygues UK
Construction company Bouygues UK will rebuild or refurbish all secondary school in Waltham Forest under the council’s £250 million Building Schools For the Future (BSF) programme.
Pascal Minault, managing director of Bouygues UK, said: “We're incredibly proud to be part of this education transformation journey, which will not only raise teaching standards, but provide an excellent environment for improving pupil achievement.”
Work is already underway for new building the Frederick Bremer School and refurbishment of Kelmscott School. Also included among the early projects is the multi-million pound refurbishment of the listed Walthamstow School for Girls.
The aim of the 15-year BSF programme is to rebuild all England’s 3,500 state secondary schools.
