One of the country’s largest in-situ concrete flooring specialists has fallen into administration with more than 100 jobs lost

Administrators were appointed to Stuarts Industrial Flooring Ltd on Friday.

The firm, one of the largest in-situ concrete flooring specialists in the country, has been trading since 1840 and had an annual turnover of £40m.

The Tamworth-based firm employed 108 people.

Administrators Andrew McGill and Mark Orton, both of KPMG, were appointed in the High Court as joint administrators on 9 February 2012, the firm confirmed in a statement.

The business is unable to trade in administration.
